Summary: Metro 2033 is a first-person shooter video game based on the novel Metro 2033 by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky. It was developed by 4A Games in Ukraine and released in March 2010 for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360. A PlayStation 3 version was planned but ultimately cancelled. In March 2006 4A Games announced a partnership with Glukhovsky to collaborate on the game. The game was announced at the 2009 Games Convention in Leipzig along with an official trailer. A sequel Metro Last Light previously called Metro 2034 was released on May 14 2013 in North America and May 17 2013 in Europe Australia and Russia.

Summary: The Nintendo 3DS 3DS Nintend Sur D Esu abbreviated to 3DS is a portable game console produced by Nintendo. It is an autostereoscopic device capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. Nintendo announced the device in March 2010 and officially unveiled it at E3 2010 on June 15 2010. The console succeeds the Nintendo DS featuring backward compatibility with older Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi video games and competes with the Sony PlayStation Vita handheld console. The Nintendo 3DS was first released on February 26 2011. Less than six months later on July 28 2011 Nintendo announced a significant price reduction from US249 to US169 amid disappointing sales. The company offered ten free Nintendo Entertainment System games and ten free Game Boy Advance games from the Nintendo eShop to consumers who bought the system at the original launch price.

Summary: The Guild series Girudo Shirzu is a compilation of video games produced by Level-5 for the Nintendo 3DS in cooperation with various game designers. The first compilation Guild01 01 Girudo Zero Wan consists of four games and was released at retail in Japan on May 31 2012. Three of the titles have been announced for individual release on the Nintendo eShop in Western territories during Fall 2012. All four of them were released individually on the Japanese eShop not long after. A second compilation Guild02 02 Girudo Zero Ts which features three games designed by Keiji Inafune Kazuya Asano Takemaru Abiko and Kaz Ayabe was released on the Nintendo eShop in Japan during March 2013 and began release in Western territories in May 2013. Guild01 was released as a compilation for Nintendo 3DS in Japan on May 31 2012 and consists of four completely distinct games designed by Goichi Suda Yoot Saito Yasumi Matsuno and Yoshiyuki Hirai of comedy duo America Zarigani. The game was bundled with a playable demo of Level-5′s game Time Travelers. They were later released on the Nintendo eShop in late 2012 although Rental Bukiya de Omasse has not received a release outside of Japan.

Summary: Watch Dogs stylised as WATCHDOGS is an upcoming open world action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows PlayStation 3 PlayStation 4 Wii U and the Xbox 360. Watch Dogs centers on the player’s ability to hack into various electronic systems either to obtain and control information or to destroy those devices completely at specific times. The game was first unveiled during Ubisoft’s press conference at E3 2012. Watch Dogs is an open world video game in which players control a man named Aiden Pearce voiced by Noam Jenkins who can hack into various electronic devices tied to the city’s central operating system ctOS allowing various methods for the player to solve numerous objectives. Examples include hacking into people’s phones to retrieve bank data and steal funds triggering malfunctions in equipment to distract other characters and hacking into traffic lights to cause collisions. Players can also receive information on civilians via augmented reality feeds providing the player with information on demographics health and potential behaviour. Objectives showcased in presentations include finding specific targets to kill evading the police and following potential victims in order to stop their would-be killers. Combat utilizes a combination of stealth components and parkour along with the mechanics of a cover-based third-person shooter. The game features an elusive online multiplayer element in which another player can control surveillance cameras in an attempt to hack the main player.
